Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were cute and quiet, perfect for a cozy holiday, but despite reserving a bed, the place was fully booked. The service, especially from Eoin and Mathias, was amazing and friendly, with round-the-clock assistance available. The location was a bit of a letdown due to cleanliness issues, but it was convenient to bars, shops, restaurants, and the lake. The dining experience was a surprise, but there were limited options, and I wished for more variety. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some highs and lows.
The hostel offers surprisingly large rooms with some signs of wear and tear. The service is friendly and accommodating, especially in arranging last-minute activities. The centrally-located property is convenient but may face noise issues at night. The dining experience is basic, and some improvements are needed. Overall, good value for money with friendly staff and convenient location.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room, though clean and comfortable with a beautiful mountain view, was smaller than expected. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome during my stay. The location was superb, right in the heart of the CBD, but the dining options were limited at breakfast.
The hotel is centrally located in Queenstown, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. The rooms, though a bit crowded and noisy at times, are cozy. The friendly service compensates for any inconveniences. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and the overall value for money is decent.
Staying in the 3rd mixed dormitory room above a loud bar that continued well into the AM was quite challenging due to the smell of cigarette smoke and unemptied rubbish. However, the front desk was helpful when I inquired about moving to another room.
The hostel served as a basic but convenient base to explore Queenstown, offering nice views from the balcony. However, the loud music from nearby bars could be bothersome at night.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean, equipped with a TV, a balcony, and tea and coffee making facilities, although it got a bit hot due to the lack of temperature control. The service was outstanding, with extremely friendly staff who even helped me create a fun hitchhiking sign. The location was perfect, right in the center of Queenstown, making it convenient for exploring the city. The dining experience was a bit lacking, offering only basic options like bread and jam without milk after 8 am. Despite this, the overall value for money was good.
My stay at the hotel was just what I needed and good value for money considering the great location. The room was spacious and had a lovely view from the balcony, although it did have a slight smell of wet carpet.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Queenstown, making it perfect for exploring the city. The rooms had some issues with cleanliness and noise from nearby bars. The service overall was excellent but marred by one unfriendly staff member. The dining options were limited, and the noise at night was a downside. Despite some drawbacks, the location is fabulous and offers easy access to shops and restaurants.
The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Queenstown, making it ideal for backpackers looking for a great value stay. The rooms were modern and comfortable for the price, although they were in the middle of the building with no natural light or windows, but I was glad it was only for one night. The service was outstanding, especially from the super friendly and helpful staff members like Calota, Marvin, and Ronia. The location was fantastic, near restaurants and pick-up locations for activities, although it could get a bit loud inside and outside the building. The dining options were basic, limited to just toast and coffee, but overall, a decent stay for the price. Organic products were a plus in the dining area. The facilities were satisfactory, offering all the essentials for a comfortable stay.
The hotel rooms were beautiful, comfy, clean, and unexpectedly well-equipped with toiletries, a hairdryer, tea and coffee, and towels. However, there was a noticeable cigarette smoke smell, and the rubbish had not been emptied. Despite this, my one-night stay was clean and comfortable, though there was noise from bars until 3 am.
